Eagles Danilec Earns Divisional MVP Honours

With the KIJHL season over, the league has recognized the top players in each division.

The Eagles Jaxon Danilec earned the Most Valuable Player award for the Okanagan Conferences Doug Birks division.

Although the Sicamous Eagles missed the playoffs, Danilec, their leading scorer, was an invaluable standout who led the leagues rookies in goals (with 29). He was the second best new player in overall scoring.

It is unsurprising then, that the young Prince George native also brought home Doug Birks division Rookie of the Year honours. In his first season, Danilec racked up 29 goals (and 28 assists) and 57 total points in 43 games.
