The Sicamous Eagles Junior B Hockey Club would like to introduce our new Head Coach, Gerald Bouchard.
Gerald was born in Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba and now resides in Vernon, BC.
Bouchard has been coaching and instructing for the past 25 years. At the University level for the University of Manitoba Women’s team to the Provincial level with Hockey Alberta.
While working as a police officer for the Calgary Police Service, Bouchard had the opportunity to work with Rick Swan and the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL as a Southern Alberta Scout. He continued working with players on and off the ice developing their skills and fundamentals as a coach mentor and instructor with P3 Sports. He now owns and operates 212 Sports Den in Vernon, B.C. working with players on and off the ice.
As a player, Bouchard played in the SJHL with the Notre Dame Hounds and spent some time overseas playing Div. 1 in Slovenia, Europe.
Gerald is looking forward to being part of the KIJHL and working with the Sicamous Eagles.
