The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League is excited to team up with HockeyTech on a multi-year technology partnership that will give the league digital tools to enhance operations and fan engagement.
The partnership will see all KIJHL regular season and playoff games broadcast on HockeyTV when the 2020/21 season starts on Friday, November 13th. The league will also launch a new website and mobile app in early November, and begin to utilize a number of different HockeyTech services including RinkNet scouting, LeagueStat scoring and team management with TradeCentre.
“The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League is very excited to partner with HockeyTech and make the move to HockeyTV, LeagueStat and RinkNet,” stated KIJHL Commissioner Jeff Dubois. “We know that HockeyTech is an industry leader in promoting junior hockey through a number of innovative platforms and tools, and we look forward to working together to give our fans bigger and better ways of connecting with the KIJHL.”
In making the move to HockeyTV, the KIJHL will join leagues like the BCHL, AJHL and USHL on the webcasting platform. And behind the scenes, the RinkNet scouting program will give KIJHL coaches access to a vast database of athlete data and scouting reports, while TradeCentre will act as the online hub for player movement.
“The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League joins the growing list of elite hockey organizations that partner with us to give their fans a better experience,” stated HockeyTech CEO Stu Siegel. “Our solutions will also make their hockey operations more efficient and effective.”
