The Sicamous Eagles have traded 2004 born defenseman Roan Girard and 2004 born forward Sean Smith to the Dryden GM Ice Dogs of the Superior International Junior Hockey League in exchange for Player Development Fees.
Both players were KIJHL rookies in the 2022-23 season.
Roan started with the Columbia Valley Rockies where he had 2 goals and 3 assists in 11 games when the Eagles traded for him, he then played 22 games as an Eagle picking up 3 goals and 10 assists.
Sean was picked up from the Revelstoke Grizzlies at the start of the 2022-23 season and he put up some real nice offensive numbers with 18 goals and 16 assists for 34 points in 44 games.
The Eagles would like to thank both Roan and Sean for their time with the Eagles and wish you both success in Dryden.
