The Sicamous Eagles Junior B Hockey Club is looking for a new member to join our team!
We are seeking a resident advisor to provide supervision and mentorship to our players while living in a dorm type facility.
The facility offers junior B players the opportunity to live and breath hockey in this unique and self-contained team environment.
Players will not only be mentored on the ice but off the ice too…learning to work as a team to help maintain their living quarters and actively assist with the selection and preparation of their meals.
The right person will oversee the day to day of the Eagles Nest ensuring chores are completed and rooms are maintained. Other duties will include assisting with meal selection and food preparation as well as ensuring the rules of the house are followed as stipulated by the coaching staff.
This is a contract opportunity from September 1st, 2021 to March 30th, 2022. The successful candidate will receive a monthly stipend, free room and board which includes a private room with shower and toilet, access to unlimited internet and flexible hours.
This is the ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working/mentoring young athletes, may be enrolled in college or university online, likes to cook and live a healthy lifestyle and would like to experience living in the Shuswap!
A criminal record check, including working with vulnerable youth is required along with 3 references.
