The Sicamous Eagles are pleased to announce the hiring of long-time Broadcaster Scott Campbell as our new Director of Marketing and Game Operations.
Campbell has spent the past five years thrilling Eagles’ fans with his unique brand of energetic play-by-play, and now joins the organization’s new core management group – alongside Ron Sleeman, Rob Sutherland, and Gerald Bouchard.
Scott has been at the rink or on the bus for nearly 15 years, working with the ACAC’s Portage College Voyageurs and the BCHL’s Salmon Arm Silverbacks before his time in Sicamous. GM Ron Sleeman says it’s the right fit for the new-look Eagles “We are extremely pleased to have Scott become a greater part of our organization as we move towards a stronger future in Sicamous.”
“The past five years in Sicamous has given me a new hockey family, and I can’t wait to see how we evolve from here”, says Campbell, who would like to thank former GM Wayne March for his years of service and friendship “I will always be grateful to Wayne and Lorraine for all their unwavering support; the work we do from here on out will always be on the backs of their decades of efforts.”
